COMMENTARY Magazine for June 1943, included a feature on THE DUBLIN GRAND OPERA SOCIETY by Joseph Reade: “The first article in a series on the Operatic and Musical Comedy Societies of Dublin. Mr. Reade writes of the aims of the D.G.O.S., and has critical comments on its conductors, principal singers, chorus and decor.”
